I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides diagnostic services, medication management and Psychotherapy to individuals from 13 years old to older adults via telehealth in Texas, Washington and Arizona. I utilize evidence based practice and patient preference to give all my patient the best care possible. I have more than 7 years extensive psychiatric experience in various setting. I have experience in case management, serving patients of different age groups in home health, palliative care and hospice, managing anxiety, depression, dementia, psychotic episodes and pain at end-of-life. I bring with me over 10 years of experience working with patients and providing emotional support to their families and loved ones dealing with loss & grief.

Before returning to civilian work, Dr. Peterson was the chief of Psychiatry at Madigan Army Medical Center and has been an ally to both civilian and military patients for nearly 3 decades.

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (DNP, PMHNP) with a specific focus on ADHD, OCD, depression, anxiety, and mood stability management. I have worked with pediatric populations and adults as a PMHNP, along with ages across the lifespan as a registered nurse, with most of my RN time working on a pediatric inpatient psych unit.

I am a double board-certified Harvard-trained child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist specializing in treating hard-to-treat depression through Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Dr. Candis Halsted graduated from Radford University, VA with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice specializing in psychiatry. Candis interests include general psychiatry, addiction medicine, behavioral health education for clients and families and is passionate about reducing stigma associated with behavioral health treatment by education and collaboration with other professionals. In her spare time, Candis enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her children and husband.
