Dr. Emma Boateng is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of nursing practice. Emma has extensive experience in mental health, psycho-education, patient care, and chronic pain management. She uses evidence-based practice to achieve patient goals. Emma treats various conditions including depression, ADHD, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, anger, relationship issues, grief/loss, stress, OCD, and eating disorders. Mariah is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Mariah began her career as an RN working in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. She quickly became very interested in neuroscience and involved herself in research projects. The intrigue of neuroscience and the passion for connection with patients as a bedside RN led Mariah to pursue a career as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Maria gained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at James Madison University in 2016. She has experience working at the bedside in various settings in the metropolitan D.C. area over the last 6 years.

I am a Georgetown University trained psychiatrist with an extensive postgraduate training and experience. I practice evidence-based psychopharmacology, psychodynamic psychotherapy and integrative medicine. I specialize in intense short-term dynamic psychotherapy (ISTDP) that can lead to rapid and permanent recovery from a wide range of problems including anxiety, depression, loneliness, self-esteem and relationship problems, anger management issues, self-destructive behaviors and psychosomatic conditions. This model of therapy is very efficient and often works, even when previous therapies failed, or were only partially successful.

Robb is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who treats a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, family difficulties, school issues, sleep/insomnia, work-related stress, and other daily challenges. He provides quality, compassionate, concise, and nonjudgmental mental health services to clients of all ages. As a PMHNP, Robb's role includes educator, mental health advocate, therapist, and medication manager. While working in psychiatric hospitals, he has learned how to listen to his patients the way he wants to be listened to when he sees his own personal physician.

My practice focuses on the mental health of children, families, and young adults. I have experience with a wide range of presenting issues, with the most common including learning difficulties, ADHD, autism, anxiety, and mood disorders.

I am passionate about helping people who struggle with ADHD, depression, mood disorders, relationship issues or trauma. I especially love helping young people overcome their mental health challenges, discover their strengths, and reach their full potential. My additional training in France as a Couples and Family Counselor emphasising a family systems viewpoint has enabled me to better incorporate an individual’s particular context and background when considering treatment. I have been a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2022 and am certified to work with patients across the lifespan.

Adaku Anike is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Adaku cares for her clients by actively listening to their needs, offering empathy, and creating an individualized care plan tailored to their needs because every client's need is different.

I believe that good mental health is a product of treating the whole person. This approach often includes psychotherapy and sometimes medication, as well as mindfulness meditation, exercise, and a healthy diet. In my experience, a whole-person centered approach can decrease reliance on medications and help the patient achieve a sense of agency in their psychological wellness.

She also has a mission to reduce the stigma of psychiatric disorders by educating clients, families, and the community about mental health disorders.

She has 24 years of acute care experience and possesses strong critical care skills. She focuses her practice on providing quality and evidenced-based care to her clients while using a compassionate approach. Golda graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and then received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University.

She possesses a deep interest in addiction medicine and assists people in liberating themselves from dependency.
