Having practiced in the field of mental health for over 10 years, I have worked with patients of all ages and treated a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, and various psychotic disorders.

My clients are brilliant detectives with a curiosity about themselves. The work we do is beyond treating depression and anxiety. We dive deep into your feelings, thoughts, and beliefs. Utilizing eastern, western, and indigenous practices, I am focused on mind-body connection to help people achieve wellness on the least amount of medications as possible. Medications can keep you afloat, but they don't help you swim to shore. Therapy and nature is imperative to heal and thrive. Dr. Shah is welcoming new patients for video appointments. As a Board-certified M.D. psychiatrist, he specializes in assessing and treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD and other psychiatric issues. A holistic provider, he combines non-pharmacologic approaches - including psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy - in addition to medication. He utilizes such therapeutic modalities in medication management appointments as well as dedicated therapy sessions. Consequently, patients benefit from well-integrated treatment that is both systematic and thorough.

Hello! We are a mental health clinic providing psych evals, med management and psychotherapy. I am the Clinic owner and Clinician. When you schedule with me, you will be signing up for a team. Currently, there are 3 interns that work with me. An intern will take your medical history and psychiatric history, then I will come on and the intern and I will create the treatment plan. On subsequent visits, you will see the intern and he/she will bring me on when the medication and/or treatment plan needs to be changed. All of us provide Integrative Psychiatry using the most recent medications and supplements.
