She is a highly-skilled professional clinician with over 5 years of providing direct patient care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders, & over 13 years of Registered Nursing. Dr. Ivy' holistic approach & evidenced based treatment modalities include pharmacologic management and psychotherapeutic interventions. She's skilled in addressing acute and chronic illnesses while maintaining a collaborative, warm and non-judgmental stance.

Mental health is a passion of mine. I help pregnant and non-pregnant adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and mood swings manage their symptoms through medication management. I've worked in various populations and have a diverse background including trauma, crisis, psychosis, pregnancy, and incarceration. Domikah Burks is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She combines an evidence-based approach alongside a holistic approach to adult psychiatry and is able to use her experience to better understand each patient's unique dynamic. She received her education (MSN) and training from the University of Texas at Arlington -- where she received training in both inpatient and outpatient settings
