Mayowa Omoyeni is a dual board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her education from The University of Texas at Arlington and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She has experience treating individuals across the lifespan including, but not limited to those suffering from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and insomnia. She believes in treating the patient as a whole, while considering mental, physical, environmental, and social factors. She is passionate about providing access to high quality mental health care.
My approach involves transparency, compassion, listening, goal-setting, healthy processing, and coping mechanisms. I set medication and therapy goals with the client and provide motivation, support, medication, and feedback when necessary. I believe in total medical freedom and diversity.
Schedule online. I will get a history, assess your symptoms, and then we would discuss a treatment plan that may or may not include medication, supplements, nutrition, psychotherapy, environmental changes, and/or lab work. Depending on the diagnosis and treatment, a 30 minute follow up appointment is usually within 2-4 weeks after the initial appointment
