I'm a board certified psychiatrist with an MD from Brown University, fellowship training in Women's Mental Health, and a faculty member at Brown University. I aim to create a highly individualized care plan, tailored to each patient's goals and vision of care. My practice is designed to be small to allow for flexibility, accessibility and attentiveness to each of my patients. Our work together will be empathic, supportive and collaborative. I am now available to see patients in person or via telehealth in RI and virtually for those in MA.

Dr. Sarah Quaratella attended Yale University for her undergraduate degree and Brown University for her MD. She trained at the University of Colorado for residency and served as a chief resident. She treats all psychiatric disorders including ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD.

I work with pregnant and postpartum people as well as those experiencing hormonal shifts (PMDD, menopause), infertility and perinatal loss. I also treat women (including trans and non-binary people) throughout the lifespan who are struggling with a variety of mental health issues. I have particular expertise in treating pregnancy and postpartum OCD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, sleep disorders, PTSD and birth trauma. My primary focus is medication management and to support patients through collaborative, integrative care, keeping in mind each patients individual needs, goals, cultures and values.

Now accepting new patients with appointments within one week for most commercial insurance plans. Our office uses a holistic approach to treating the whole patient and not just the symptoms. We use a team based approach to coordinate care between both behavior health and medical providers. I am passionate about working with women who struggle with hormones, fertility, and life changes, with adults in the LGBTQQ+ community, and individuals that struggle with mood, trauma, and anxiety concerns. Patients that are motivated for change and interested in being part of their treatment team are always welcome.

Dr. Samantha Shawn-Marsh is a Doctoral and Board Certified Child and Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who works with children and adults providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management to those experiencing bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders. She is the founder and owner of Remedy Wellness Center, Inc. and welcomes new patients at this time.
