I have trained with the leading physicians in evidence-based integrative, metabolic, and functional psychiatry resulting in an effective and compassionate psychiatric practice. I carefully consider and utilize new and emerging treatments with conventional or traditional therapies to treat disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. Welcome! GentlePsych is an online telepsychiatry practice seeing patients ages 7 and up. I see clients both in person and telemedicine to allow the most comfortable space for you. I am a dual board-certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in diagnostic testing and medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and mood disorders.

My focus is to assist those who may struggle with their mental health and tailor a specific plan of care that the individual and myself create. The recent pandemic has pushed society to recognize that individuals may need assistance with mental wellness. Montana is very rural and services are not always readily available, I am committed to the wellness of individuals and would like to provide services to our community.

Throughout my career, I had the privilege of providing exceptional care to countless service members and family members from all branches of the military, with a particular focus on individuals affected by Combat and Complex PTSD. I also have extensive experience in ADHD treatment. My approach to care is comprehensive, ensuring accurate diagnosis, precise medication prescription, and the development of personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique lifestyle.

Ashley is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) across the lifespan. She earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric Mental Health specialization from Walden University. Ashley has years of experience in various settings as a nurse that includes ICU, Hospice, and Psychiatry. As a provider, she continues to work in Emergency Psychiatry within Montana's largest health care system. She assists patients in crisis stabilization that can include severe conditions such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and psychosis.
