I am a more sensitive, empathic, and understanding child and adolescent psychiatrist (CAP) because I have ADHD and several different learning disabilities. When I was young, I constantly worried about being unable to stay in my seat or complete my assignments without making “silly” mistakes. As a child and adolescent psychiatrist, I’ve learned how to treat hyperactivity, but as an adult, I know what it’s like to be a hyperactive youngster. With that knowledge, I can ask kids “insider” questions that can only arise from shared experiences. My “insider” knowledge facilitates rapport, a core indicator of successful treatment.

Dr Eileen Teyim is an ANCC board certified psychiatric Nurse practitioner and is a graduate of Desales University, Center Valley, Pa. She strives to provide culturally informed and patient centered care tailored to each individual and values the meaningful connections made with her patients. She is dual certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. This allows her to treat each patient with a holistic approach. Hello. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Doylestown, King of Prussia and virtually in PA. I work with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Self Harm, OCD, ODD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Addictions, ASP, Suicidal Ideation and many other mental health Issues. I can evaluate for ADHD in the initial session. I have consults with parents who are hesitant or not quite ready for their child or adolescent to start medication but want to become knowledgeable in case that time comes. I strive in my sessions to gather all pertinent information in order to prescribe the psychiatric medications that will best suit my clients needs.
