I am a Columbia University-trained, Board-Certified psychiatrist and researcher. I help people with a wide variety of psychological problems including addiction, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, panic attacks, OCD, and PTSD. I believe that treatment should be personalized and tailored in each individual's needs and goals, and I offer both medications and psychotherapy. In addition, I offer treatment with buprenorphine (Suboxone) and extended-release naltrexone (Vivitrol) to help people with heroin or prescription opioid problems.

In my practice, I specialize in helping individuals manage conditions like ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD through medication management and brief supportive therapy. I also provide support for personal challenges related to relationships, self-esteem, and sexual health. Having had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, including my LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, I've gained valuable insights and approaches. I am a board-certified family psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner specializing in female health psychiatry, male health, and adolescent psychiatry. My focus is on health promotion during life transitions such as pregnancy, and childbirth, for both females and males, as well as changes in schools and college admissions for teenagers and adolescents. In my practice, I prioritize establishing a therapeutic partnership built on mutual respect, trust, and self-reflection. Chris Lee PMHNP-BC is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and specializes in diagnostic evaluation and medication management for patients of all ages. Chris completed his graduate training in psychiatry at New York University and holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Southern California and Miami Dade College. Chris Lee has trained at some of the nation's top mental health facilities including Bellevue Hospital's Psychiatric Emergency Department and St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. He is a California native but has called Miami home for 17 years.

I am a Mount Sinai clinical professor and board-certified adult psychiatrist. I trained at Sinai as well as Yale for medical school, where I completed neuropsychiatric research in brain imaging and computational neural models for my PhD. The unique combination of my extensive neuroscience research background and my psychodynamic psychotherapy training means I am strongly in favor of evidence-based treatment, while appreciating the limitations of randomized controlled trials as assessment tools for highly individualized psychotherapeutic interventions.
