I am a Board Certified psychiatrist with over twenty-five years of clinical experience since my graduation from residency, and I maintain practices in psychiatry in New York City, Sag Harbor, and Litchfield County, Connecticut. Areas of expertise include psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, in-home and nursing home consultations and management, and work with patients suffering from medical illness; I have completed formal fellowships in these areas at Cornell, Columbia, and Memorial Sloan Kettering.

I am a Columbia-trained general and addiction psychiatrist and researcher. My practice focuses on delivering high-quality treatment to a small number of patients. I focus on complex substance use, co-morbid/dual diagnoses cases such as Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and depression, and behavioral addictions such as sex/gaming addiction. I conduct both talk therapy and use medications in my practice and work with both patients and their families. The goal is transformative change in behavior patterns to help patients achieve their highest level of functioning.

I am a board certified psychiatrist. I have a telepsychiatric practice where I see clients all over Florida and New York state. I am licensed in both states. My concierge practice specializes in medication management to treat psychiatric issues including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and all other psychiatric needs of the patient. I treat a wide spectrum of psychiatric conditions including mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, cognitive and memory problems, and persistent psychotic illnesses such as schizophrenia. I have extensive experience treating the lasting effects of traumatic experiences and helping individuals overcome grief. My practice also includes diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders in adults (e.g., bulimia). Although my practice is guided by research on the most effective treatments, I tailor my treatment recommendations to the individual's specific circumstances.

Joseph Amnawah is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Long Island, NY who works with clients across the lifespan, including children and adolescents, who struggle with depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, ASD, eating disorders, and social phobias. Joseph has extensive experience with adults, children and adolescents in both an outpatient, inpatient, residential, and community programs and has been a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since 2019, with over a decade working in the field of psychiatry.

I have decades of experience with all types of patients and in all types of settings, in the United States and abroad. I have 25+ years of experience as a clinical psychiatrist, with specialties in depression, anxiety, ADHD and OCD. As a Harvard Medical School Associate Professor of Psychiatry, I published many brain imaging research studies of cognitive and emotional functioning, and have particular expertise in diagnosing and treating neuropsychiatric disorders. Alexander Gumbs, FNP/PMHNP-BC is a dual board-certified practitioner in psychiatry and family medicine. Mr. Gumbs uses an integrative holistic approach to treat the bodies and minds of his patients. He is proficient in treating those across the lifespan (children, adolescents, adults, and seniors). Community focus is his passion. He has experience treating disadvantaged populations, such as the homeless and those in the criminal justice system transitioning back to civilian life. Mr. Gumbs treats those with anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, depression, autism, insomnia, dementia, and postpartum depression.
