How can we help you ? I am a dual-certified and licensed Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. Our Katonah office is a small private practice. This allows us to provide confidential individual care; to include medication management and cognitive-behavioral therapy for a variety of mental health issues. I am currently accepting new patients ages 18 years and up. We offer before and after hour as well as weekend appointments. Our office is conveniently located on the main strip in town. We do not accept commercial insurance, we will provide an insurance claim form for you to submit at the end of each visit.

Dr Sheila Devlin-Craane - Counseling Associates Inc / EMDR for Trauma is a DNP, & Clinical Specialist, board certified in psychiatric mental health with more than 35 years’ experience. She obtained a doctorate at Fairfield University as a psychiatric DNP. She is also nationally certified in EMDR which is a preferred treatment for trauma and PTSD. Hi! I am a doctorally prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner from New York University, specializing in children and adolescent. I received the majority of my clinical training from inpatient settings, where I learned to work with a wide range of patients and families struggling from depression, anxiety, substance use, and trauma. I also have extensive experience working with adults, and can offer clozapine management. In my 14 years of practice I have fallen in love with the healing process and watching how empathetic, holistic, and client-centered care can change entire family structures.

I specialize in state-of-the-art, outpatient treatment of stress, anxiety and depression. I have extensive experience treating patients with bipolar disorder, mood disorders, PTSD and ADHD. Most of my patients work, go to school and are able to live their lives, but have issues that "get in their way." Others experience more significant distress. I treat each person with what he or she needs, whether it is with talk therapy medicine, or a combination of both, as needed. I do not insist my patients stay in therapy for years, as independence is our mutual goal.
