Kunmi is a warm and compassionate board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with several years of experience treating individuals across the lifespan in various settings. She graduated with highest honors from Walden University with a Master of Science in Nursing Degree.

I am a Board Certified, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner, with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. I have nine years of experience in treatment of mental disorders across the lifespan. My areas of expertise include; Diagnosis and treatment for Psychosis, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety/Panic Disorders, OCD and trauma-related disorders, such as post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I work primarily in underserved communities in New York. My approach is grounded in evidence-based treatment. I utilize an integrative model that draws upon cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness based copying strategies.

Stella enjoys communicating and educating her clients about the importance of taking an active role in their health and mental health. Sometimes this is easier said than done; but she believes as an advocate of mental health, building a trusting relationship with her clients will encourage them to not just simply ask questions but engage in a dialogue that will promote better health related decisions. Toba has experience treating a range of psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, and schizophrenia; in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. He currently renders care to the young adult (17) and older adult population. When treating clients who are experiencing mental health issues it is very important to understand the other elements that may serve as contributing factors for their diagnosis. It takes a level of compassion, integrity, patience, and understanding to work with individuals who are experiencing difficulties managing mental health or the mental health of their loved ones.

The practice is run by Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Kristen Egger treating adolescents and adults with a wide range of behavioral and emotional difficulties. With over 15 years experience working inpatient, outpatient, & emergency setting, our treatment philosophy centers on treating the whole person. Catherine Nwora is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate nursing degree from Arkansas Tech University and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and Post-Masters specializing in psychiatry. With 6 years with a psychiatric nurse experience and 2 years with an FNP experience, she has treated patients with acute and chronic depression, anxiety and panic, ADHD, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and psychosis, among others.
