I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) passionate about helping individuals become mentally fit. My background includes child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry and I treat a broad range of psychiatric disorders. I am passionate about addressing clients holistically, as our brain health is largely impacted by not only genetic factors but lifestyle factors. I offer psychotropic medication management, therapeutic techniques, and lifestyle guidance.

Dr Bierrenbach is a board certified Psychiatrist and has been practicing Psychiatry for over 20 years.

Corbin transitioned to outpatient psychiatric care in 2020, and has been practicing in behavioral health ever since! His goal was to pursue a career in mental healthcare in order to help alleviate the shortage of mental healthcare providers in this country. He feels that it is extremely important to help normalize the conversation of our mental health in our daily lives!

Tara Nate is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients across their lifespan. She prioritizes using a holistic or whole person approach when addressing her patient’s wellness goals. This includes not only focusing on their mental and emotional needs but also on their physical, spiritual, and social needs. She uses a trauma informed approach and aims to empower her patients to lead fulfilling lives.

She is motivated by empathy and a deep understanding of the significance of mental health. She envisions a career devoted to breaking down stigmas surrounding mental health, promoting awareness, and implementing effective therapeutic interventions to empower individuals on their journey towards mental wellness.

Dr. Reid is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She completed medical school at the University of South Carolina and Residency in Psychiatry at University of North Carolina Hospitals. Dr. Reid feels that the field of Psychiatry is unique in that it requires a collaborative, whole person approach to Medical care. She has always enjoyed this aspect of being a Psychiatrist, spending time getting to know patients, unfolding and understanding together the complex interplay of medical and Psychosocial events that create the symptoms we focus on in treatment.

Dr. Carnetha Simmons has been practicing as a board certified Adult, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, for over 14 years. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, and completed her general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent Fellowship at Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina.

I am a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist in private practice in Asheville, NC and on faculty at the Yale Child Study Center in New Haven, CT. I provide therapy as well as medication management, when necessary. The primary modalities I use with clients are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. One of my biggest passions is providing excellent resources to supplement therapy, so clients feel well-versed in their treatment and realize they are not the only ones going through these struggles. Hello and welcome. My name is Timothy Balisky and I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner. This means that I am a nurse practitioner with specialty training and board certification focused on psychiatric mental healthcare. Three particular areas that I focus on within this specialty of mental health are treatment resistant depression, anxiety disorders, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
