Tara Nate is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients across their lifespan. She prioritizes using a holistic or whole person approach when addressing her patient’s wellness goals. This includes not only focusing on their mental and emotional needs but also on their physical, spiritual, and social needs. She uses a trauma informed approach and aims to empower her patients to lead fulfilling lives.

I'm a double-boarded Child/Adolescent/Adult Psychiatrist, working mostly online. I run a cash-based insurance hybrid practice. I help you submit your itemized statement to you insurance company but I'm considered out-of-network. My sub-specialty is ADHD, but I can help with any issue from A-Z. I have great computer software that puts the patient in charge of their treatment. We can do everything online: scheduling appointments, complete forms, communicate, electronically prescribe, have our interview, and discuss treatment, all from the comforts of your phone or computer.

Liz Vaughan is a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with a specialty focus in Pediatric Mental and Behavioral Health. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Duke University in 2019. Liz received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing also from Duke University in 2014. Liz has 7 years of previous pediatric nursing experience, ranging from intensive care, to cardiac, to pediatric oncology/bone marrow transplant, to outpatient neurology and mental health. During her MSN coursework at Duke, Liz was one of the first students to take part in the Pediatric Mental Behavioral Health Specialty program.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Psychology from Boston University and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from University of Illinois at Chicago with an emphasis on evaluation, assessment, diagnosis and medication management of a wide range of psychiatric/mental health disorders.
