As a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, my goal is to create a safe, warm and compassionate space for healing and personal growth. In my work, I aim to delve beyond diagnostic labels to uncover the core issues underlying clinical symptoms. This process acknowledges each individual’s unique experience and helps minimize reliance on medications. Together, I work with my clients to help them understand the unconscious impact of early childhood experiences on their current ability to love, work and play, and help them gain inner freedom to live fuller, more wholesome lives.

Accepting clients ages 18-65 for psychiatric consultation and evaluation, individual psychotherapy, and/or medication management. our goal is to advocate for patients who struggle with mental illness to manage their treatment with compassion, understanding, a non-judgemental approach, and focus on holistic care.

Dr. Eric Morse helps people recover from many substance use disorders and mental illnesses. I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over ten years of experience treating various psychiatric conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, anxiety disorder, co-morbid substance use disorder, and psychotic disorder. Alina Lis is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience working as a nurse, with the majority of that time spent in inpatient medical oncology/hospice and substance abuse treatment. Alina earned her Master of Science degree from Walden University after receiving an undergraduate nursing degree from Rasmussen College.

Stephanie is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan. She is very passionate about mental health and its impact on well-being. Stephanie works with individuals in all different stages of life who struggle with behaviors, thoughts, and emotions that prevent them from living the life they want. She can help you experience freedom from the overwhelming hardships making your life difficult to enjoy.

Her clinical areas of interest include anxiety disorders (including OCD), mood disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disorders, and eating disorders, among others.

Mari-Jane Shaffer is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Advaita Integrated Medicine in Raleigh, North Carolina. Specifically, she is a post masters' certificate prepared advanced practice nurse. She has been a registered nurse for 38 years and a nurse practitioner for 8 years. After working with patients in a variety of settings as an RN for 28 years, she decided to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing degree at Duke University specializing in Family Practice. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she realized that working with patients on their mental health was pivotal in order for them to achieve optimal wellness.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) passionate about helping individuals become mentally fit. My background includes child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry and I treat a broad range of psychiatric disorders. I am passionate about addressing clients holistically, as our brain health is largely impacted by not only genetic factors but lifestyle factors. I offer psychotropic medication management, therapeutic techniques, and lifestyle guidance.

I am a psychiatrist in private practice at Raleigh Psychiatric Associates since 2015. Treatments offered include both medications and psychotherapy. I treat adult men and women with depression, anxiety disorders (including generalized anxiety and panic disorder), obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and substance use disorders. My sub-specialty is women's reproductive mental health. This includes women who are planning a pregnancy, currently pregnant, or postpartum, as well as women struggling with infertility, pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), or menopause-related mood and anxiety problems.
