Working with patients in their own home relieves immediate stress and is a positive environment to establish immediate rapport. Telepsychiatry reduces delays in care, potential transportation barriers, such as lack of transportation or the need for long drives, and improves access to mental health specialty care that might not otherwise be available (e.g., in rural areas). Research also suggests telepsychiatry helps patients avoid the stigmas surrounding getting treatment and immediately increases comfort levels. At this time we are NOT accepting patients with Bipolar Disorder.

I'm a PMHNP-BC serving patients from 13 years old to adults. I'm passionate about serving the mental health population and specialize in individuals who present with anxiety, bipolar, depression, ADHD, and eating disorders. In addition, I specialize in providing tailored mental health support for athletes, addressing their unique challenges on and off the field. We will address performance anxiety to adjustment issues and build mental resilience and strength to maximize your athletic potential. Ultimately, I believe it's vital to maintain your medical wellness, and taking care of your mental health is equally essential.

Dr. Eric Semeko, MD is a Hospitalist in Psychiatry at one of Charlotte, North Carolina's local hospitals. He is board certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Semeko grew up in Ghana, Africa earning his Medical Degree in Volgograd, Russia, completing his residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. He was recently named one of America's Most Compassionate Doctors and has worked in a large metropolitan hospital clinic as lead physician. In addition to his hospital work Dr. Semeko owns a private practice on Park Road; Restoration Charlotte, PLLC.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. I specialize in medical treatment and psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, anger issues, self-esteem issues, challenges with emotional intimacy, problems coping with stress, and obsessions. These symptoms often present themselves when individuals describe feeling "stuck" in their lives. They may have difficulties avoiding repetitive and unhealthy patterns that cause emotional turmoil and distress. I have found it is most therapeutic and cost-effective to provide psychotherapy combined with medication management (when appropriate).
