Trisha is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing and over twenty years of clinical experience working in mental health. She is an independent practitioner in the states of CT, NY and MA, is board certified with prescriptive authority and specializes in psychiatric medication management. At TLC Psychiatry, her approach to care involves getting to know each client individually, partnering closely with them to construct a plan of care specific to their needs, and supporting them to achieve their goals with medication management and therapy.

Whether practicing insight-oriented psychotherapy or psychoanalysis, I listen to the way a person tries to solve his or her problems and help them to come to a new understanding based on greater tolerance for what they feel. My medical background helps me to be aware of the complicated interplay between what is physical and what is psychological. I help my patients sort out what we can treat with psychotherapy and when medications may make a difference.

Dr. D'Agostino is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), and has a subspeciality Board Certification in Addiction Medicine; he is a Suboxone provider, and treats a variety of substance use disorders with medication assisted treatment (MAT) and therapy (as needed). He specializes in the treatment of adults and late-adolescents, with expertise in medication management and therapy for conditions including but not limited to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, opioid and alcohol use disorder.
