Welcome. I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychoanalyst and psychiatrist trained at the University of Chicago and Yale Child Study Center. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and parents seeking more than brief symptom relief: deeper understanding, lasting change, and greater freedom in how they live, love, work, and relate. Treatment may include intensive psychotherapy or psychoanalysis, integrating evidence-based care, neuroscience, judicious use of medication at the lowest effective dose, and a psychoanalytic understanding of development, relationships, and unconscious patterns shaping experience and possibility.
I specialize in intensive psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for children, adolescents, adults, and parents, with diagnostic evaluation and medication management when needed. My approach is dynamic and developmental; medication, when useful, is prescribed judiciously at the lowest effective dose to support lasting change.
Beginning therapy can feel uncertain, especially when familiar patterns no longer work. I offer a thoughtful, compassionate space to understand your difficulties more deeply and consider new ways of living, relating, and feeling more free. You are welcome to reach out when you are ready.
