She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Husson University. She worked for Indian Health Service, practicing in Down East Maine. She also practiced in York Maine. She enjoys integrating Holistic Approaches, collaborating with therapists and other treatment providers. Her treatment is culturally informed.

My professional passions include treating mood and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and supporting the development of insight and self-efficacy. I have maintained a continuous psychotherapy practice since 1979. In addition to clinical practice I taught in the graduate program for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners at the University of Southern Maine - retired as Professor Emeritus in 2017. My background is in psychodynamic therapy which acknowledges the importance that family of origin plays in our life as well as the role of the unconscious in determining our decisions. I accompany my clients on a journey of self-discovery and self-awareness which leads to symptom reduction and a more fulfilling life. My practice consists of individual, couples and family therapy- I do not prescribe in my practice.
