Hi, I’m Dr. Nubia Chong. I work collaboratively with adults to carefully create an individualized plan for people looking to address the effects of imbalance and disconnection within their lives. This includes (but is not limited to) Depression, Anxiety, unresolved Trauma & PTSD, and other difficulties with emotion regulation. I work from a trauma informed framework and communicate in a way that is respectful, offers hope and genuine connection. I aim to center your ability to exercise self-determination, honoring that you are the expert in yourself.

**Accepting new clients.** Each person is unique in their cultural and social background. I take time to understand the whole person and treat patients with an individual, integrative approach, using both medication and other evidence-based strategies (including brain/behavioral modification tools). I also offer cannabis certifications in compliance with MMCC. I see children, adolescents, and adults and have been practicing medicine in the DMV for 12 years. I have specialized training in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Shepherd-Pratt. I treat gaming, social media addiction.

Dr. Lisa Gordon, MD is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with extensive expertise treating a wide variety of mental health conditions and emotional challenges. She has been in practice for over 25 years with significant experience across inpatient and outpatient behavioral health care settings. She specializes in Cultural Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology and began her career as an Assistant Professor, doing research and providing cultural psychiatry training to medical students and residents.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my clients are seeking a compassionate partner on their mental health journey. Many face challenges from mood disorders to complex psychiatric conditions, desiring a holistic approach beyond symptom relief, and seeking a safe space where their voice is heard and valued. I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

Kimberly Dennis, MD, CEDS is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in treating addictions, eating disorders, and co-occurring disorders. She has helped thousands of remarkable people with their illnesses. Her knowledge of eating disorders and addiction isn’t just limited to her academic and clinical experience, having had her own personal experience as a woman in recovery from an eating disorder and alcoholism. Mood disorders do not exist without psychosocial issues, such as school performance, employment conflict, unemployment, middle life crisis, marriage conflicts, divorce, parenting, broken family, financial troubles, bankruptcy, family deaths, etc. Manic symptoms can be taken as wild and difficult personality and a person can live years and years of social and emotional hardships without assessment and treatment. I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.
