AEHS provides intake and assessment, individual, family, couples, and group therapy, as well as referral and medication management services. Mrs. Register immigrated to the United State at the age of 11 from Vietnam. She grew up in Garden City, KS. She is the oldest of 8 children. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University and worked for a short time in that field before deciding to stay home full time to raise her three children. After her last child started Kindergarten, she wanted to pursue a career in nursing. Her first nursing job was at a maximum security forensic psychiatric hospital in Maryland. It was there that she decided to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Earned a Master's degree from Walden.

I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Doctorate degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing in 2018. Since graduation, I have been working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner both in Maryland and other states. My clinical experience over the years encompasses diverse clinical settings such as school-based program, mobile treatment program, day hospital, and geriatric home-based program within my agency.

New patients are always accepted! Dr. Patterson offers modern, quality mental health treatment using a secure telepsychiatry platform. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, she believes that the most important aspect of care is listening to the client's unique story. Although medication management is a large part of her role, medicine is only prescribed when absolutely necessary. Dr. Patterson will assess your genetics, reproductive hormonal events, as well as life events/stressors and responses to them. Dr. Patterson also specializes in child and adolescent mental health.
