Welcome! Since becoming a registered nurse in 1985, I’ve had the opportunity to work in healthcare settings including critical care, hospice and behavioral health. In 2001, I graduated from Northeastern University with my MSN and became Board Certified and licensed to practice as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I love what I do and feel fortunate to have deepened my psychotherapy and medication management skills working with some excellent supervisors over the years. While I'm proud of my practice as a whole, I’ll admit that psychotherapy is what I love the most about my work.

I founded Portland Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology in 2017 to create a comfortable, responsive setting for patients needing cognitive and behavioral neurologic services and general psychiatric care. I am triple board-certified in psychiatry, neurology, and integrative holistic medicine. I am trained to understand and synthesize all factors that are contributing to your current condition and can work with you to address each of them in order to restore your quality of life.

As a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I treat both children and adults of all ages. Together, we will partner to treat you with a holistic, integrative approach. I listen to, and get to know my clients from a social, medical and mental health perspective. I am currently accepting new patients for telepsychiatry visits.

I am a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist seeing patients for combined psychotherapy and medication management services. My practice is small and patient-focused with a tailored approach to meet every patient's unique needs. My approach to treatment is to provide a safe, comforting environment where patients feel able to express themselves emotionally without fear of judgment. I pride myself on being empathic, warm, and caring with an ability to personally connect with each of my patients and their families. I love what I do and I believe this reflects in the results I help my patients achieve.
