My name is Mary-Ellen Meltzer and I am an AASECT certified sex therapist, sex therapist supervisor, and a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist. I am LGBTQIAA and kink affirming. I work with couples and individuals who struggle with relationship and sexual health issues. I also work with clients who struggle with medical health issues including cancer and menopause. When you are struggling with sexual and /or relationship issues it can be hard to identify a therapist to help you make sense of what you are experiencing. You do not need to struggle alone. All genders, relationships and cultures are welcome.

I'm a board certified psychiatrist with an MD from Brown University, fellowship training in Women's Mental Health, and a faculty member at Brown University. I aim to create a highly individualized care plan, tailored to each patient's goals and vision of care. My practice is designed to be small to allow for flexibility, accessibility and attentiveness to each of my patients. Our work together will be empathic, supportive and collaborative. I am now available to see patients in person or via telehealth in RI and virtually for those in MA.

Board Certified Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner Annie Hollyer, PMHNP-BC, RN, MSN offers psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy treatment, documentation and will be happy to work with you on referrals to the cutting edge medicine that’s changing mental health including Pharmacogenetic testing, Spravato, Suboxone, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

Therapy is my specialty, and I evaluate and prescribe medication only for patients I treat in therapy when it is truly indicated. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who are more interested in developing their own capacities than in complaining about the inadequacy of what they find outside themselves in the world and in other people. I do not provide "medication management" if that is a primary reason for consultation.
