I am a Harvard-trained psychiatrist treating adults, people facing concerns around pregnancy, and couples in metro Boston. Appointments are available both via telehealth and in-person at my office in Boston's Financial District, convenient to all MBTA lines. Drawing on my education at the top-ranked Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital psychiatry residency program, my experience and interests include perinatal and reproductive psychiatry, mentalization-based treatment, couples therapy, and LGBTQIA+ psychiatry, including LGBTQIA+ couples therapy and psychiatric consultation around gender-affirming medical care.

I am a board-certified general psychiatrist. I completed my residency training at New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center, as well, as a two-year certification course in psychodynamic psychotherapy at New York Medical College Psychoanalytic Institute. I provide comprehensive, high-quality outpatient mental health services to a broad range of individuals and their families.

I have extensive training and experience in treating a wide array of psychiatric disorders. I am a double board certified psychiatrist with board certifications in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

Paul Coleman is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Coleman Mental Health Associates, PLLC, specializing in the mental health care of the patient. What is important for people to realize is “No two people are the same”, thus each patient will receive a plan of care to help with and partner in the patient's journey. How do we learn to understand and trust what our feelings are saying to us? What makes it possible to change entrenched ways of coping that are not working? My focus in therapy is to help patients deepen their personal relationships and find their work more rewarding; medication can sometimes help alleviate symptoms that interfere with achieving these goals. By providing a safe and supportive environment for the patient's search for self-understanding, and listening closely to what is being said and not said, I collaborate with the patient in finding creative and pragmatic ways to overcome obstacles to change.

Arinze has over 13 years of working experience within the healthcare system, both inpatient and outpatient providing patient care services; and has for more than a year been prescribing and managing patients with psychiatric illness.

Please note: At this time, I am primarily virtual but offer intermittent in-person appointments. I am based in Southern NH and Greater Boston, MA. I received my nurse practitioner education at Rivier University and completed clinical training at McLean Hospital, in Belmont, MA. My personal and professional goals include bridging the gaps that exist in our healthcare system to ensure everyone has adequate access and good mental health care, reducing stigma so that people are more inclined to ask for help, and providing a treatment plan where both you and I work together to ensure your needs are met.
