Danielle is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who offers comprehensive psychiatric care and medication management services. Danielle's approach involves meeting each person at their own unique stage and collaborating with them to effectively manage symptoms and create a personalized treatment plan. I assist patients on their mental health journey through telehealth. Patients must have access to the internet and be able to participate in video appointments. I am open managing most diagnoses. I do not manage patients with involuntary court orders due to limitations of telehealth.

I’m an integrative/holistic psychiatrist and family physician with functional medicine as well as psychedelic-assisted therapy training. I’ve been in practice for 20 years (post-residency, as a tenure-track academic research scientist and educator at the University of Iowa College of Medicine, then in private practice in St Thomas, USVI, and Iowa City. I have provided assessment and skilled intervention with patients and families for more than 25 years. I have extensive experience working in the acute inpatient, outpatient, and in-homes settings, and have recently joined the Medication Management Team at Central Iowa Psychological Services. Michelle Kubik is a licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) and provides psychiatric care and medication management at Kingdom Counseling. Michelle completed her undergraduate degree at Central College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. She graduated from Des Moines University in 2015 with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Michelle worked as a provider in primary care for seven years where she found her passion caring for those struggling with their mental health.
