Rebecca, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), has worked in the medical field for over 20 years. She completes initial psychiatric evaluations and also manages and treats anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, and self-esteem concerns. Rebecca is also a board-certified Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-BC). Her professional goal is to improve mental health knowledge in the community to decrease the stigma that is currently placed on mental health. Preconceptions of mental health conditions can have a significant impact on one’s life as they may prevent many from seeking care.

I regard my role as a physician as one trusted by the community and public to provide a service that honors patient's whole being. It is a privilege to work with matters that people regard as sacred-issues of their heart and mind. Through New Image Wellness, I work to evaluate concerns that involve medical, psychological, and social issues. The interface of these three domains are best served when balanced. Alice uses an evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and client-centered approach in her treatment modules. I have had a private practice in medication management for 21 years in several locations; am currently licensed in Connecticut and New Jersey, but am able to do telehealth appointments wherever you are located. Patients have found this to be very helpful, as we can connect from your home or work. My experience is in multiple settings: inpatient, outpatient, and crisis intervention. I have also served as a consultant to patients with mental health concerns in a neurology practice and in an HIV clinic. I have held faculty positions at several universities, and currently serve as an associate professor at UPENN's School of Nursing.
