Harborside Psychiatrics offers medication management to clients of all ages and genders. We are specialized in the treatment of eating disorders and PTSD, with a particular passion for working with athletes. We also have extensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

I provide psychiatric care to individuals ages 9+ struggling with their mental health, including changes in mood, increased anxiety, OCD, ADHD, trauma, stress, and loss. I offer an empathetic, collaborative approach with the intention of helping my clients feel heard and supported. I value my clients' preferences and take a holistic view of their lives when considering the best treatment for them. My clinical interests include working with tweens, teens, and young adults, as well as women of child-bearing age.

Throughout my many years of experience both as a registered nurse and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I have learnt learned to treat my patients with respect and compassion, knowing that their current problems does not define them. My name is Lauren Wenzl, I am a certified Physician Assistant specializing in Psychiatric-Mental Health. In 2016 I achieved a Masters Degree in Physician Assistance from Keiser University and now have 7 years practice experience. I have come to understand that all of us need someone to listen to our concerns. Someone who listens without judging, offers empathy, compassion, and lends an ear to our struggles can make a significant impact in our mental health. My goal is to provide that relief to my patients through talk, recommendations, medications, or therapeutic care guidance.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see.
