Jordan Sloshower, MD, MSc is a board-certified psychiatrist, researcher, and educator specializing in integrative approaches to mental health and psychedelic-assisted therapies. Along with my team at West Rock Wellness, I seek to offer with care and compassion, a spectrum of therapeutic and transformational services that address root causes of suffering. I view conditions, such as depression and anxiety, through a bio-psycho-social-spiritual lens and seek to help clients heal at those various levels. To create the kind of practice I want for my patients, I operate a full-service, "concierge" psychiatry practice, as opposed to an insurance-driven model. As a physician-scientist trained at Yale & Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan, I specialize in PTSD, depression/anxiety and ADHD. I've been privileged to provide aid and therapeutic interventions to diverse PTSD populations in the tri-state area, including 9/11 first responders and veterans. Additionally, my scientific contributions in the field shine through published scientific articles on trauma's influence on health & aging. I am also a national voice on stress & trauma's repercussions in underrepresented communities.

Taking your child to a psychiatrist is not an easy decision. Many parents have concerns about unnecessarily medicating their child or labeling them with a diagnosis at such a young age. As a physician and as a parent, I take those concerns very seriously. I do a lot of groundwork before I diagnose a child. I use validated rating scales completed by multiple sources and I always work in conjunction with a therapist. I take a family-centric approach to treatment. For school evaluations, I see my role as an advocate for the child, while not losing sight of the school's perspective.

I embrace a diverse practice that ranges from adolescents through older adults in all ages and areas. I enjoy helping people that have struggled to find a way to peace and happiness. Perry appreciates listening and learning about a person and building a therapeutic relationship. I work with people who have never taken medications that are new to psychiatric treatment and medication management. I also have the ability to manage difficult complex psychiatric cases.

Jay Seigel has worked in clinical, academic and leadership capacities to improve the quality of life of his clients with addiction and mental health disorders.
