In terms of an ideal patient, at our practice we strive to treat the patient as a whole and believe in the biologic, psychologic, social, and spiritual approach. As such, an idea patient would be willing to discuss each aspect. While I do prescribe medications, I try to minimize these through use of the other approaches. Of note, as I do outpatient office-based care, I do not provide 24/7 care.

I am a board certified psychiatrist, practicing in Westwood, who specializes in the evaluation, consultation, and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience using evidence-based medicine and psychotherapy to help my patients live more fulfilling lives. I address important lifestyle factors (i.e. sleep, diet, exercise, supplements, substance use), and their effects on one's mental and physical health, to promote healthful living. Welcome to my women's telehealth practice. I am Cornell trained and specialize in psychiatry, therapy, and coaching for women with an added focus of working with Asian American women. Along with cognitive behavioral and mindfulness based therapy, I prescribe medications when appropriate - no more than needed, but not less. Common issues faced by my clients include managing stress and anxiety, integrating the demands of work and life, and navigating key relationships. In a warm, collaborative setting we identify and work on the specific goals that will help you live an emotionally healthy and balanced life.
