Humera Chaudhary is board certified in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She completed her medical school and psychiatry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She completed her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship and served as Chief Resident at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY. Humera explores the biological, psychological, social, and cultural aspects of mental health in her psychiatric evaluations.

I have experience treating adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and ADHD. I provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and prescribe psychiatric medications. I also provide psychotherapy services and am currently deepening my training of psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. My approach draws upon various modalities, including mindfulness, somatic practices, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
