Accepting New Patients - We are acutely aware that there is a shortage of mental health care practitioners in the area at a time when so many people are struggling to maintain their mental health. We are happy to be a new and growing practice that can address this shortage and help new patients. The goal of Manresa Wellness is to provide mental health support to adults in our community by providing competent and compassionate care.
At Manresa Wellness, we provide medication management & brief psychotherapy as well as collaboration with primary care providers and therapists. When appropriate, we refer medically stable patients back to primary care providers for medication management, thus minimizing out-of-pocket expenses. Appointments can be in person or telehealth.
Alma C. Ritsema, who goes by Carrie, has devoted her nursing career to the mental health field. She has 20 years of experience and is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Carrie treats a myriad of psychiatric conditions and is passionate about helping her patients feel better and live fuller lives.
