After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from California State University, San Bernardino, she received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from UMass Global. Victoria was born & raised in LA & she loves the environment it has cultivated for her. She has several years of mental health experience working in different inpatient & acute settings. I am a Yale, UCLA and UCSF-trained addiction psychiatrist. I provide confidential, evidence-based treatment for mental health issues and addictions, including opioids, alcohol, cocaine, amphetamines, tobacco, cannabis, and behavioral addictions like internet, gaming, and gambling. These are NOT moral or character failings, but rather medical conditions that can affect anyone at any time, from any walk of life, with oftentimes serious personal, relational, and professional consequences. Though validated treatments exist, these are often underutilized due to medical providers’ discomfort, lack of education, and/or stigma.

Halima Lawal is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) trained and experienced in treating patients with mental health conditions across the lifespan. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Psychiatry from the University of South Alabama in 2020. During the span of her career, she has served as a mentor and is enthusiastic about learning and teaching. She completed her training for psychiatry in the inpatient, outpatient, and telepsychiatry settings. She is passionate about what she does and is invested in positive patient outcomes and overall wellbeing.

I work in CA, AZ, and TX. Dr. Okafor knew from an early age that her purpose in life was to serve, help, and heal others. She received her BSN degree in 2012, Masters of Science degree and license as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017, then went on to receive her second Masters of Science degree and license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree in 2019. She completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2020. Dr. O, as many of her clients call her, has worked in almost every area of healthcare. Dr. O has a passion for caring for her clients to reach remission and maintain their quality of life.

I am a double board-certified Child, Adolescent, & Adult Psychiatrist, as well as Psychotherapist. I believe in taking the time to fully understand each person’s unique situation because one’s state of mind is inseparable from the family and social systems that surround us. Each patient is seen as an individual and encouraged to be an active participant and collaborator in their own treatment planning. For some, this will involve medications, after a thorough discussion of risks, benefits, and side effects. And for others the best course may be to start with psychotherapy or other supportive treatments before meds are considered.
