I provide comprehensive mental health services to adults, adolescents and couples. For patients who have complex needs such as multiple medical or mental health diagnoses, who have seen many previous practitioners with no results, or who do not want to see multiple providers or need integrated care with a single person they trust, my practice is an ideal fit. I have specialty training in mood disorders, personality disorders, neurodivergence in all its forms, and working with other providers including physicians, lawyers, estate planners, neuropsychologists, and care managers as well as . In order to offer my patients the most appropriate treatments, I believe firmly in performing a rigorous diagnostic assessment. The results of this assessment are then discussed with my patients, and we work collaboratively to create a treatment plan tailored to his or her individual needs. When working with children, I believe it is essential that both the child and the parents' preferences be honored. If everyone agrees that medication is indicated, then my preferred approach is generally to use the fewest number of medications at the lowest possible effective dose(s).

My practice includes medication management of adults ages 18 and over. I have specialty training and research in college and student athlete mental health. I have a particular interest in working with young adults to build a healthy foundation to achieve their goals. In addition to medication management, my approach to mental health care involves addressing overall health and well-being, including eating habits, exercise, sleep-hygiene, cultivating healthy relationships, and finding meaning in our day to day life.

I am a board certified psychiatrist and my practice includes the treatment of adults and adolescents ages 16 and older. Having received specialty training in Women's Mental Health, I am experienced with mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Mental health and psychiatric symptoms are complex, and affected both by brain chemistry and environmental factors. I listen closely to understand the details of a patient's life in order to determine the best course of treatment. When medication is indicated, I strive to develop safe and effective regimens with my patients.

She has over 20 years of experience working in the field of mental health with children, adolescents, families and adults. Abbey offers a range of assessment and treatment strategies to address mental, emotional and behavioral concerns. Each person is unique and Abbey uses a collaborative approach working as partners to achieve a person's optimal mental wellness, empowering the individual on their healing journey.
