I am a compassionate, Board Certified Adult psychiatrist with experience treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders. I feel lucky to be able to work collaboratively with individuals facing unique and complex challenges at all stages of life. I believe in empowering patients to take an active role in their care, and feel that this can help us work together to achieve the most positive possible outcomes. I provide comprehensive assessments, taking into account all aspects of patients' lives, and provide both medication management and psychotherapy, or a combination of the two as appropriate.
I have experience treating a wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, and OCD. Being a mom to three young children myself, I hold a special interest in women's mental health, including issues surrounding the prenatal and postnatal periods as well as infertility.
I also have experience treating eating disorders and issues surrounding young adulthood and student mental health. I earned my Bachelor's degree in anthropology at U. C. Berkeley, and went on to attend medical school at U. C. Irvine.
