I was born in Miami but grew up right here in Boca Raton. I worked at Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Weston and later in the Miami Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. Serving those who served this country was one of the most humbling and enlightening experiences of my life, and it helped me to discover my true passion for Psychiatry. I completed my training in General Psychiatry in Miami and decided to move closer to family. I currently treat those with Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, PTSD and Depression. I moved to Florida after leaving the Army to put down roots for my children and be closer to my family. My time as an Army psychiatrist offered me the wonderful opportunity to work with and treat individuals from diverse backgrounds. I spent nine years moving around the world taking care of our service members, their families, and our veterans. I had the privilege of serving in Alaska, Iraq, South Korea, and Italy and I plan to continue my service in the Army Reserves. I have been told that I am an approachable, discerning, and thoughtful physician who offers a holistic, patient-centered approach to care.

I feel honored to have completed my Psychiatric Residency training at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington DC. Having grown up in Cuba I moved in 2019 to be closer to my family and practice in the beautiful weather here in sunny Florida. As an adult psychiatrist I specialize in treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, OCD and PTSD. I'm committed to creating a strong doctor-patient therapeutic relationship with a patient-centered focus of care. My approach is providing a consistent, empathic and nonjudgmental space to help my patients relieve their suffering and improve their mental well-being.

I moved from Charleston South Carolina to Boca Raton in the summer of 2017 to be with my wife and two daughters as she accepted a position as an oncologist at the Cleveland Clinic. I am board certified, and currently treat those with Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD and Depression. At the current time I accept Aetna, Cigna, Optum, United Healthcare, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare. My fee for service is set minimally above insurance rates.

I moved from New York in 2015 to be closer to my family and to help raise my children. As most know it takes a village. I will admit the weather and palm trees don't hurt either. As a new partner at Boca Raton Psychiatry and Delray Beach Psychiatry I treat Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, ADHD and OCD. I am board certified and have a wonderful demeanor with my patients.

I am originally from Lima, Peru and raised in Miami. Growing up I enjoyed playing tennis and reading as much as possible. Upon high school graduation I decided to stay close to my family and attended the University of Miami. During my time there I became an avid fan of the Hurricanes but after college my desire to become a physician and my husband’s job took us to the Midwest. I have since returned to join Delray Beach Psychiatry where I currently treat Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, OCD and PTSD with either medication and/or therapy.

I received my medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where I first fell in love with the field of psychiatry and the opportunity it presents to help people achieve recovery and overcome mental health challenges. I went on to complete my psychiatry residency at Temple University Hospital, where I served as a chief resident during my final year of training. I treat adult patients with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder and OCD. I am a South Florida native, returning after completing my residency program at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. Despite my fondness for the Windy City, I am thrilled to be back home, closer to family and the warmth of the Florida sun. As an psychiatrist my goal is to improve quality of life and wellbeing by empowering you. I see all adult patients with special training in women’s mental health and integrative medicine.
