I am an ANCC board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I first earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Delaware. I served as a nurse in several fields and joined the Army Reserve as a medic. In 2021, I earned my Master of Science in Nursing at National University. I specialize in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy for patients with depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Mary utilizes a patient-centered/tailored approach with an emphasis on collaborative, mutually respectful patient-provider relationships. She follows The Perspective Approach to psychiatry, recognizing that mental illness is not linear, but dimensional. She strives to provide a warm and compassionate environment where her patients feel heard, validated and respected. Her aim is to provide top notch psychiatric care and guide her clients toward a rewarding life that is not defined by their mental illnesses.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and New York University (NYU). After graduating as chief resident, I went on to pursue a fellowship and work in the public sector serving those most in need. My clients often include those that have been struggling with difficulties that impair their day to day function, leaving them unsatisfied, unhappy or struggling with inner turmoil or anxiety. Dr. Khinda’s warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental treatment approach assists in providing patient centered care in a safe and supportive environment. Dr. Khinda will work to specifically tailor treatment to the unique strengths and values of each individual, whether that means medication management, therapy, or a novel approach. Dr. Khinda is a double board-certified psychiatrist in Child & Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry. She has trained at large, reputable healthcare systems.
