I am an NYU-educated, ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in providing authentic and non-judgmental nursing care. My focus are the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, and insomnia. I speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin. My approach is collaborative, individualized, holistic from a shared decision-making perspective, which combine therapy styles from Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) with IFS-informed (Internal Family System-informed) EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

I am an ivy league trained psychiatrist who is double board certified in adult and forensic psychiatry. I provide psychotherapy (talk therapy) and/or psychopharmacology (medication) to high functioning adults. Dear future patients, my name is Chika Odili and I'm a board-certified nurse practitioner. I know we haven’t met yet, but when we do, please trust that you are in good hands. It is my absolute pleasure to assist in your care. I started my career doing an internship at a prestigious children’s hospital in the Texas Medical Center on an adolescent GI unit where I was able to work with individuals with eating related disorders. I then went on to complete my Bachelors in Nursing Degree and began working as a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Unit caring for the psychiatric population.

Most of the patients who have worked with me over the years have a variety of different mental health issues. These include depression, anxiety and substance dependence. However, in psychiatry, there are many other mental health matters which need to be diagnosed and carefully treated.
