I am a psychiatrist, specializing in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. I trained in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the New Presbyterian Hospital combined program of Columbia and Cornell Universities and Adult Psychiatry at Saint Vincent Hospital. During my training, I held a number of leadership positions and was honored with the Edward J. Sachar award for compassion and excellence in Psychiatry by the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons.

I am a board certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist and also board certified in integrative holistic medicine. I have special interests in ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and treating individuals experiencing difficult life circumstances including relationship, high performance academic/job, and infertility stresses. I believe that mental health involves physical, emotional, environmental, cultural, and spiritual systems that are all interconnected. Treating each individual is unique and requires a thoughtful and collaborative approach and I employ an integrative and holistic approach to treatment.

As a licensed medical doctor and practicing psychiatrist, I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental conditions. As an osteopathic, physician, my philosophy incorporates a complete integration of the mind and the body. My training, both in psychopharmacology (medication) and psychotherapy (talk therapy), helps me incorporate both treatment modalities in my practice. This approach also relates to work I do in public mental health where I work part time providing mental health care to the homeless, severely mentally ill and LGBT at risk youth.

My ideal client is someone who is concerned with every day life and possibly has concerns with anxiety and depression. It is easy to feel overwhelmed when mental health concerns are overbearing. I would enjoy helping clients explore these feelings and find solutions to potentially overcome their concerns. Clients may be experiencing symptoms such as difficulty concentrating, dealing with persistent feelings of sadness or constant worrying, sleep disturbances, changes in appetite, or a lack of interest in activities they once enjoyed. Together, we can solve these issues by setting plausible goals and medication management.

Kerry truly believes that being present and forming a team approach with patients is one of the most important aspects of patient care. Realizing that each patient is unique, working together with patients towards their goals, while being passionate about individual empowerment allows my skills to become another instrument they can use to navigate their lives. My focus is primarily on mood disorders, anxiety, depression and ADHD. assessment and safety planning.

I am a Columbia-trained psychiatrist and psychoanalyst with board certification in adult and child/adolescent psychiatry. I work with children, teenagers, and adults in psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and medication treatment. I have an interest in treating a broad range of conditions, including complex ones. Drawing from psychoanalysis, child development, psychiatry, and the arts, our work will be suited to your specific needs and goals.

Dr. Gundu Reddy is a Board Certified Psychiatrist in New York City. Prior to starting residency at Mount Sinai School of medicine she pursued additional research in HIV psychiatry . As well as residency training, she has also pursued further training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the NYU psychoanalytic institute. She states that whether prescribing medication, family, or relationship therapy, understanding psychodynamic conflict and causes of symptoms will cause help enhance quality of care. As well as psychodynamic training Dr Reddy also has a background in integrative psychiatry and treatment resistance.

I am board certified Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience. I provide a safe and emphatic space for my clients. I will prepare a customized treatment plan which may include pharmacological and non-pharmacological modalities. I utilize the most current and comprehensive regimens. My focus is on wellness and prevention. I provide evening and Saturday office hours as well as video-psychiatry/visits. I also provide assessments and letters for emotional support animal in NYC. I am able to prescribe medical cannabis in New York State/City.
