Veterans Support Group
A peer support group to assist veterans (separated last 5 years) with making the successful transition to civilian life. Redeployment issues such as relationships, work, navigating civilian life, and identity issues will be explored. 8 sessions will be held on Thursday nights starting March 2nd. This group aspires to empower LGBTQ+ Youth by creating a safe and encouraging space for High School students to explore and process topics around sexual identity and gender identity with liked minded peers, and to learn therapeutic ways to manage stress, depression, and issues with self-worth that may be co-occurring. 6 sessions starting March 2nd. Emotional regulation issues in children often have a large impact on the family dynamic structure. This group is designed to help support parents & guardians in these families by educating them on meaningful and effective ways to interact with younger children (ages 5-10) who have a history of behavioral outbursts or increasing mood dysregulation. 8 sessions start February 20th.
