Person First, Then Teacher

Being an educator today is one of the toughest jobs to hold. There are a lot of external factors that make the job challenging, and at times feeling exploitative. If you are a young educator or a veteran teacher that has been feeling burned out, disillusioned, and chronically anxious, consider joining the Person First, Then Teacher support group. This space is meant to embrace and honor your experiences in the classroom, while building identities outside of it. With the stories of other teachers, the hope is to internalize that you are never alone.
