Brian Collisson, Ph.D., is a social psychologist and professor at Azusa Pacific University. His research is at the interface of romantic relationships, personality, and prejudice. Collisson's work has been published in scholarly journals—Psychological Science, Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, and Social Psychological & Personality Science—and has garnered popular media attention. Collisson earned his doctorate from the University of Florida in 2013 and currently researches the dark side of dating, such as how romantic partners' antisocial personality traits affect relationship processes and why people dislike dissimilar couples.
