Hello and welcome. Starting counselling can feel worrisome even if you have attended counselling previously. We all have our reasons for approaching counselling; stress, overwhelm, depression, anxiety, grief and trauma impacts can seem to control everything including our behaviours, relationships, and work - our lives in general. Working with warmth and building trust is at the core of my approach. By taking one step at a time, in a contained space we can work collaboratively in achieving your aims and help you see your life and yourself in a different light.
I believe in you, and your inner resources. I aim to walk alongside you with compassion to help you explore meaning, grow in awareness and develop coping and managing mechanisms. I'm also a practitioner in the REWIND technique aimed at alleviating traumatic events, PTSD and Phobias. Working in this way you don’t need to talk about the trauma the itself.
