I tend to work with people that feel stuck. Stuck in the same thoughts, behavior, and situations they can’t quite figure out how to move beyond. Stuck in their relationships, unsure how to communicate, or commonly fighting over “the same thing.” Instead of asking “What’s wrong with me?” and “How can I fix myself?” We can focus on questions like, “How can I know myself better?” and “I wonder why I respond that way?” to build self-compassion and curiosity.
In treatment, I balance short-term solutions with adjusting long-held narratives. Sessions often focus on patterns you see in your life, ways of relating to people, investigating what you were taught or what was normalized, what you may have internalized, and ultimately getting to a place of more ease and agency.
I keep a purposefully small practice—seeing maximum 20 clients per week, instead of the usual 25 or 30. This allows me to show up fully present to each and every session, commit to any collateral work, and for those weeks where you just need extra time, you can easily book it.
