Welcome I am a registered MBACP accredited Counsellor/psychotherapist. I am qualified in several modalities of therapy - meaning I can integrate a range of interventions to support you. I work with individuals, couples, families, children and young people. I offer online appointments and face to face appointments in York and Thirsk. I also offer walk and talk sessions in York and Thirsk. I specialise in relationship and psychosexual therapy, trauma and PTSD. If you are experiencing difficulties and would like to talk in confidence, I'm here by your side to support you and help you move forward at your pace.

I work with teenagers, adults, couples and families. My aim is to provide practical, emotional and psychological support that is right for each person, combining the most effective therapeutic approaches with the latest evidence in neuroscience. Sessions give you space to explore what's important to you and may be about dealing with anxiety, depression, addiction, self harm, eating difficulties or trauma - recent or longstanding. It may be relationship issues as part of a couple or family; or exploring your identity, gender or neurodiversity. As well as 1:1 therapy, online support groups for teenagers and parents are also available.

Your subconscious is in the driving seat and while it tries to help you feel safe and survive, it can also hinder you too. Often we aren't entirely aware, at a conscious level, why we're struggling or stuck in self-sabotaging behaviour patterns. Hypnotherapy is able to reach your subconscious and work with it to correct course, allowing you to achieve what you want.
