As a registered Social Worker for over 30 years, I offer extensive training, experience and a passion for a therapeutic approach in regard to supporting individuals who have experienced past traumas and/or present struggles. I believe in facilitating the healing process through an individual approach that is client-centred and non-judgmental. There are a variety of therapeutic methods which can facilitate the healing process. I strive to determine the most appropriate method based on open communication and with an understanding for the individual. Through a partnership, and established trust, the healing process is possible.
Within the methods listed below, EMDR is an area of significant interest and passion of mine. It has proven to be a remarkable tool to help clients heal from a vast array of traumas and challenges. ***APPOINTMENTS ON SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS BETWEEN 10:00 and 1:00 ONLY***
In addition, I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals who are Deaf and/or hard of hearing. I am conversationally fluent in American Sign Language.
