My practice welcomes individuals and families from different cultural backgrounds and offers a safe place to work together, share experiences, and reconnecting to relationships that are meaningful. I believe that everybody has goals and dreams that they want to accomplish in life. However, sometimes we encounter stressors which interfere with our daily activities and relationships. I will work with you, using different approaches, to enable you to cope with the stressors that are getting in the way. I believe in resolving conflict, pursuing happiness, and preserving relationships.

As a certified Multiple Addiction Therapist and PhD Clinical Sexologist with over 43 years of clinical practice experience I treat individuals & families with a variety of presentations. Specialising in treating compuslive behavior disorders from all drugs to sexual disfunctions & those accessing child sexual exploitation imagery online (CSEM). I also faciliate multidimensional sex specific forensic evaluations. I offer individual & group treatment for addicts, partners & those accessing CSEM. We collaborate to find solutions that will support positive change.

Welcome! I am a doctoral-level clinical and forensic psychologist licensed with the College of Alberta Psychologists since 2004. I have extensive experience in community clinics, inpatient settings, correctional facilities, and private practice. I have many years of experience preparing court reports, providing psychological assessments, and conducting individual and group cognitive-behavioural therapy. I am a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA), and I have a wealth of experience in assessing and treating problematic sexual interests and behaviours.

Although individuals seek therapy for a variety of reasons such as anxiety, depression, traumas, and relationship issues, I have found most individuals seeking therapy are motivated by their common desire to have an increased understanding of self and others. They want more peace and less stress. To help individuals achieve this, my Cognitive Therapy approach focuses on increasing an individual's ability to manage their own nervous system. To be able to achieve this it is essential individuals understand how present and past relationships and environments either oppressed or encouraged self-awareness.
