It is hard to try to navigate family, belonging, community, and figuring out who we are and who we want to be in what can seem like two separate worlds and identities. It is absolutely possible to find your way to happiness and inner peace and it’s helpful to have a trained professional with lived experience guide and support you through that journey.
I practice from a client-centred, intersectional, anti-oppressive lens. I can help you identify thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that are getting in the way of your goals, unpack painful experiences, and help you build a more self-aware, mindful, and kind relationship with yourself.
As a racialized counsellor, I recognize the unique stressors and lived experiences that come with navigating often oppressive institutions and systems.
