I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a background in person-centred interaction. I work in partnership with you on the issues that bring you to counselling. I believe that each individual has the capacity to change and can discover and use his or her own strengths to create change. I treat all my clients with the understanding that they have an inherent striving for a positive life, and will work with the person to achieve his or her own goals.
I have been an RCC counsellor for 10 years, helping people with such struggles as depression, amotivation, or being stuck in his or her path forward. I specialize in addictions, including substance use and other addictive behaviours. As well I have worked family members who have been impacted by the addiction of a loved one.
We all struggle sometimes in life and we can benefit from help from others. I believe we have the answers for our own lives and we know ourselves better than anyone else. As a counsellor my task is to help you find your wisdom and strength. You are the expert in your life.
