Feeling weighed down by the never-ending stream of responsibilities? Exhausted, drained, and teetering on the edge of burnout? You're not in this alone. But there's hope. Let's journey together to reclaim your energy and reignite your zest for life. I've trodden that same path of burnout, so I understand. The good news? I've discovered how to revive that spark, and I'm here to be your guide. Bringing joy to women like you by helping you refill your cup is my passion.

Each person's journey toward well-being is unique, so I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you can explore your concerns and goals. Using an integrated approach to support you in achieving optimal mental and emotional health. Grounding evidence-based practices AND tailoring to your needs. I work with people of all ages and walks of life, but have extensive experience in positive parenting coaching, working with young people in high schools, and also in drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Caring is stressful, growing up can be tricky, and no one gets through life unscathed and without their own traumas.

Authenticity, genuineness and unconditional support are the foundations of my therapeutic approach. I prioritise understanding what has happened to you, rather than what is wrong with you or focusing solely on diagnoses. I understand the challenge of finding a therapist who truly listens, offering a secure and trustworthy space where you feel seen without judgement. Like many, I’ve faced my own struggles and know the frustration of not receiving the support I needed. This experience has fuelled my intention for creating a space that is not only professional but also warm, understanding, and nurturing.

Traditional therapy isn't for everyone. Omnetherapy is the first clinic to introduce Active Therapy. Active Therapy is a type of psychotherapy created to occupy the mind while the therapist accesses the deeper mind. We focus on those who have low moods, struggle with confidence, fears and phobias and mental health barriers.

Attachment-based Counsellors

Is attachment-based therapy the same as attachment therapy?

Attachment-based therapy may be confused with what is called “attachment therapy” (sometimes called “holding therapy”), a discredited and dangerous approach to treating children with attachment disorders, autism, or other mental health concerns. Attachment therapy—not attachment-based therapy—may involve restraining a child, forcing eye contact, and other coercive or abusive techniques. None of these practices are used in attachment-based therapy and the two modalities are in no way related.

What should I expect from attachment-based therapy?

Attachment-based therapy is based on attachment theory, which posits that children’s early relationships with their caregivers strongly influence their ability to navigate the world later in life. Thus, adults who seek attachment-based therapy should expect to deeply explore their childhood, identifying the dynamics or experiences that disrupted their attachment and the steps necessary to overcome challenges that arose as a result. Parents and children should expect to explore the possible factors that disrupted the parent-child relationship and work toward restoring trust and connection.

How long does attachment-based therapy last?

Certain forms of attachment-based therapy, especially those designed for parents and children, last for a set number of sessions; for example, Attachment and Biobehavioural Catch-Up, a specific attachment-based approach for young children who have undergone early adversity, unfolds over 10 one-hour sessions. When attachment-based therapy is practiced on adults or combined with other modalities, it may not last a specific length of time; clients may wish to ask prospective therapists how long they expect treatment to take.

Does attachment-based therapy work?

Most of the research on attachment-based therapy focuses on children and adolescents. Some of this research shows a positive effect, especially for attachment-based family therapy (ABFT). Other studies, however, have found that attachment-based therapy is no more effective than other approaches to childhood depression, anxiety, or suicidality. Less is known about the therapy’s efficacy on adult populations.
