Healing is not linear: this is a mantra I return to continually in my practice. I believe in providing an unconditionally safe and supportive space for you to begin to reflect, refocus, and redefine your mental health. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I've had a breadth of experience working with families, adults struggling with severe mental illness, and adolescents battling mental health and addiction.
I strive to cultivate a nonjudgmental space to explore your experiences (the good, the not-so-good, and the traumatic) with compassion and understanding. I practice from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective utilizing tools of mindfulness to promote mental wellness.
While every day may not be perfect, we can still enjoy life and find peace in the rockiest moments. The key to mental wellness is to be able to sit with our discomfort and learn what it is being communicated to us by that feeling.
